4 february 2011, coron, palawan
after a tiring calauit safari experience (due to long travel), we decided to take a dip at maquinit hotspring. it is more than 5kilometers from coron proper, and accessible via tricycle. entrance is P100.
maquinit hot spring is the only known saltwater hot spring in the philippines. yup, it's a saltwater. because it is directly connected to the sea. the hotspring and the sea is just being divided by a thick wall.
this hot spring soothes the body and serves as a therapeutic medium to body aches. i believe my wounds that i unfortunately got from corals in the beach earlier healed faster because i took a dip in this hotspring. it was really mahapdi, pero tiniis ko na lang.
