davao crocodile park

9 october 2010, davao city

before and after rafting we took a tour around the crocodile park where the biggest, largest and oldest crocodile in captivity resides - pangil. this 18-foot reptile is already more than 80 years old! He does not move so much, not active and aggressive like a typical croc. but still, he is really really big.

he is actually big in real life. hehe

aside from pangil, there are other smaller and younger crocodiles in the park. they actually have  crocodile shows called crocodile frenzy where they show the crowd how furious the crocodiles are when eating a big piece of meat. there was also a man crossing through a wire beneath the crocodiles. one wrong move, and he'll definitely be a sumptuous snack. other shows are crocodile dancing and crocodile encounter

in the park there are also other animals that are being taken care of.

an iguana

i forgot what it is. hehe
